Trying to practice painting.

Lou Romano sent me some cool Painter brushes from a friend of his and they've really inspired me to try and paint some still lifes etc.

This is a doodle that was on the corner of a phone-doodle page. It's something like 1 inch square.

Art you can Buy

So here's the art that I'm donating to Fyn Stec's benefit auction. (If you don't know what that is look at the next post down for info.)

As always click the image for a larger version.
The first piece is 10" x 14" - Ink on Watercolor Paper.

This next piece is 7" x 10" - Pastel and Watercolor on Watercolor Paper.

This last piece is 12" x 16" - Pastel and Watercolor on Watercolor Paper.

here's a detail of the last one...

All three are framed...

The auction site should have everyone's art up relatively soon (by this monday April 17 for sure) and you will be able to Pre-Bid so check it out and bid on something!

Art Auction to Benefit Fyn Stec

Fyn Stec is the son of my friends Paul Stec and Dayla Corcoran. He's barely 5 years old and he's been diagnosed with liver cancer. To help them out many great artists are donating artwork for a benefit auction for Fyn to be hosted by Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank.

For information regarding the auction click on Fyn's picture

If you can make it you should go bid on some great art! If you can't be there I believe you will be able to see the art and bid online. There are really some stellar artists donating work and I can't wait to see all of it and bid on my favorites.

Also check out fynstec.blogspot.com to read about his story and the latest.

As for me, I'm sorry I've been M.I.A. from this blog due to a severe case of bronchitis (that's still lingering!) but I have done a few pieces for the auction and I'll be posting images of them here in a couple days once I get them scanned.
I hope you like them, and maybe even bid on them! :-D
