Don Shank, Would you like to draw realistic-looking dinosaurs in your sketchbook, using the newest scientific resconstructions and infomation?

You again huh?
I think it might be time to ban you.

No, Don't Ban Me. It's me, Timothy Robert McKenzie. I apologized for this behavior. I'm so sorry. Forgive me.

hey don. which kind of moleskine sketchbook are you using for these? is that watercolor paper?

Don Shank said...

these? no these are "regular" paper. Moleskin has a few types of 'regular' paper. Thicker, regular, thinner. I have one of those moleskins with the watercolor paper and it's great but I usually just draw/paint on whatever. Ronnie del Carmen really likes the moleskin that comes in a 3 pack and has kind of a cardboardy cover. He feels the paper takes water better. I like those cause the over book is thinner.

I don't visit your blog often enough.

You were one of my favorite artists on Dexter's Lab and The Powerpuff Girls. I especially like your character designs and background art.

I also like your Pouty characters. I have a strange fix on women, so I'm also exploring different female designs. ;)
