Elsa Birdy
My niece Elsa just celebrated her 1st birthday yesterday and as a gift for her I painted this. Normally I use watercolor or computer but I've started working with gouache lately and this is my second painting using it. As always click for larger.

!Primer cumpleanos feliz, Elsa!
soo sweet!! Beautiful card!
beautiful!
It's beautiful!
And very inspiring!
Fun isn't it? I've been messing with the gouche lately too and I like it better than computer painting. You can get some happy accidents that you wouldn't with a computer. Plus it feels soooo good putting it down! Buttery!
very nice stuff man.
Super cute! Is that a book worm?
awesome painting man...glad you are loving the gouache!

I'm sure she'll love it!
No shocker that you'd handle gouache like this. It's lovely. Perfect design and color. Thanks for sharing it.
Hey Mr. Don Shank, curator of "The" Shankpile,
It's Stephen De's pal Uncle Phil here. I may be slinking around Emeryville in the next couple of days and would love to shake the hand of the man that drew the Phallus ren and stimpy.
be on the look out,

No, I'm up at Pixar. When are you going to be around? I'll keep an eye out.
I'll be up there tonight and I'm shooting to stop by the pixar campus thursday or friday for lunch. My girlfriend and I are going to be visiting Nate Wragg. So he'll be showing us around if he can.
Hopefully I'll get to say hi.
