This is an awesome piece. I'm sorry I can't be at the show for Opening Night.

this painting is awesome on many diff levels..

i love the texture, i love the colors

what i REALLY like, though, is the awesome 60s-style design of that lamp! you really nailed it!!

& lastly, the awesome looking, designy middle-eastern building in the BG

very nice work :)

thank you everyone for your compliments!

and, for those downloaders out there who care about such things, I just fixed the border color which was supposed to be black but was accidentally a dark grey. It seemed to make the image looked wahed out.

Ditto to everything everyone said... well except for you Don, cause if I said that it just wouldn't make any sense!

Aw, crap--I won'd be there--I mean here--but damn that's a nice painting.

OK, I'm back from the gallery site.

Hmmm...interesting concept for a show(every pice 5x7, every price $100)--and frustrating--because I want to buy this painting.
#@!$...ah well, what're you gonna do? This gem will go in about 2 seconds, if it takes that long. I'm half afraid there might be fistfights over this numbers system! But it'll be a hoot of an opening, that's for sure.

yeah, it's an interesting system. you can put your number on up to 5 pieces. so i imagine there will be people putting there number on pieces just to hold them while they make up their mind on what they wanna buy. i bet there will be alot of erasing and renumbering etc.

Nobody's going to be changing their mind about this one, Don-first come, first gets. No erasing here. ; )

I would like to see the "Jinni" that comes out of that bottle- it is really evocative- the landscape, the design, details and colors all together- Will there be a series? Bottles of different colors perhaps?
